We tried Banshee through a thermal fogger in an empty poultry shed on Wed 30th as a way of keeping red mites at bay. Banshee was used at a rate of 160ml per 1000 cubic metres and combined with a fogging agent (Fog It, also made by Renovo Technologies) at a rate of 140ml per 1000 cubic meters. The shed had a volume of 2500 cubic meters.
The fogging went really well and we expect that Banshee would've penetrated into all the cracks and crevices that mites reside when no birds are present. The shed was completely filled with smoke and looked like it was going to hang around for a few hours. There'll be more updates later when we get an idea how well its going to work.
